Introduction:
In this short blog post, I will be walking you through step by step on how to solve some random difficulties you might be facing with Google Play console. Many Developers do face alot of problems in managing their play console account as beginners. I have everything well explained for you.

Google play console change app Name.

If you've ever published an app on the Google Play Store, you know that your app's name is important. It's one of the first things that potential users will see, and it can have a big impact on whether or not they decide to download your app.

But what if you need to change your app's name after you've already published it? Don't worry, it's easy to do. In this blog post, I'll show you how to change your app's name on Google Play Console.

How to change app name in google play console?

It's a super simple process, so don't worry if you're new to Google Play Console. Just follow these steps:

Go to Google Play Console and log in to your account.
  1. Click on the "All apps" page.
  2. Click on the name of the app whose name you want to change.
  3. Click on the "App name" field.
  4. Enter your new app name in the "App name" field.
  5. Click on the "Save" button.
And that's it! You've now successfully changed your app's name on Google Play Console.

Google Play console App Remove.

I will be showing you how to remove your already published app from play store and also how to fix app removed issue incase if play store unpublished your app.

There are a few reasons why you might want to do this. Maybe you're discontinuing your app, or maybe you need to make some major changes to it. Whatever the reason, removing your app from Google Play Console is a simple process.

How to remove or unpublish an app on play store

Here are steps on how to go about that:
  1. Go to Google Play Console and log in to your account.
  2. Click on the "All apps" page.
  3. Click on the name of the app you want to remove.
  4. Click on the "Release & setup" tab.
  5. Under "Availability," click on the "Unpublish" button.
  6. Confirm that you want to unpublish your app.
And you are all done! Your app is now unpublished and will no longer be available for downloads from the Google Play Store. Users will no more find your app on play store again. You can Create a new version of the app and submit it if you want the app to be published again and mind you, the changes aren't reversible. Once you confirm to unpublish the app, know you can't undo the changes.

Make sure to back up your app data before you unpublish your app. Don't bother google won't totally delete the app from the list of your apps on play console but the app won't be live on play store any longer.

If you're discontinuing your app, it's a good idea to notify your users in advance. You can do this by posting a message on your app's website or social media pages. Or sending a mail to them if your app accept sign ups. You can send them cloud messages just like an upcoming update of your new app version.

If you're planning to make major changes to your app, you can update your app and then resubmit for google to review it once the changes have been made. This will allow you to keep your app's current ratings and reviews.

So you want to transfer your app ownership to another person or invite another person to be managing your app and you don't know how to go about that?well I made a clear guide for you. Just make sure you follow the exact steps correctly.

How to transfer ownership of a Google Play Console app

If you want to give your already existing app on play store to someone else, you can transfer ownership. This will give the new owner control of the app, and you will no longer be able to manage it.

To transfer ownership, you will need the new owner's email address and developer name. You will also need to choose what level of permission you want to give them.
Here are what you need before you can make an app transfer to a new user
  • The email address of the new owner of your app
  • The developer name of the new owner of your app
  • The permission level you want to give to the new owner (e.g., Admin, Developer, etc.)
Here are the steps to transfer ownership of a Google Play Console app:

  1. Go to Google Play Console and sign in.
  2. Click the app you want to transfer.
  3. Click the App info tab.
  4. Scroll down to the Ownership section and click Change.
  5. Enter the new owner's email address, developer name, and permission level.
  6. Click Send.
  7. The new owner will receive a notification and will need to accept the transfer request.
  8. Once the new owner has accepted the transfer request, you will receive a notification.
That's it! You have now transferred ownership of your app to the new owner.
Here are some tips I made to guide your through:

  • Make sure to communicate with the new owner throughout the transfer process.
  • The person must have a new or already existing Google play console account
  • Make sure the new owner doesn't have a Google Play Console account.
